Practicing Veterinary Medicine Since 2010

Blue Cross Animal Hospital is a fully equipped animal hospital with all types of care for dogs and cats, from simple vaccinations, preventative care, and wellness visits to emergencies and complex medical and surgical cases. We also carry prescription diets for dogs and cats.

Dr. Sharma has many years of experience in veterinary medicine and is a highly trained surgeon with advanced training in endocrinology. He earned his DVM in 1988 in India, his Ph.D. in 1999 in Australia, and his post-doctorate in 2002 at the University of Michigan. He has published many research papers in peer-reviewed journals. He specializes in hormone-related diseases, such as diabetes, Addison’s and Cushing’s disease, and thyroid disorders. He also has a special interest in soft tissue and bone surgeries (anterior Cruciate ligament and luxating patella surgeries). A board-certified surgeon can also be invited to the practice for more complicated cases.

Our team at Blue Cross Animal Hospital believes that if we can identify diseases early, we can treat them before they get too advanced. For that reason, Dr. Sharma and his staff advise annual wellness checkups. Animals cannot talk, so veterinarians have to depend on a lot of diagnostic testing. Blue Cross Animal Hospital is fully equipped with a modern laboratory to perform all kinds of advanced blood work, x-rays, urinalysis, and fecal checks on site. Regular dental cleanings are advised to prevent gum disease and its effects on the heart and kidneys.

We want to treat your pets as our own.
